    Advertising deadlines generally align with our issue submission deadlines. However, we maintain flexibility when working with advertisers. If the submission deadline has passed and you are still interested in placing an ad, please contact us directly. If space remains available, we will do our best to accommodate your placement.

  • Yes. Advertising space can be reserved in advance, with final artwork submitted by the agreed deadline.

  • All advertisements appear together toward the back of the magazine. This keeps the editorial sequence uninterrupted while giving readers a clear, intentional space to engage with advertising as part of the publication. The only exceptions are inside cover ads.

  • Yes. Ads may be in English, Japanese, or a combination of both.

  • Yes. For an additional fee, we can design an ad on your behalf. We can also connect you with graphic designers we trust, allowing you to work directly with them to create an ad.

  • Don Magazine is printed in a limited run of 200 copies.

  • Definitely. We provide clear specifications, including bleed and safe-area guidelines, to ensure important information appears exactly as intended in print.

  • Don Magazine is distributed at Don Magazine events and select bookstores, including Loneliness Books (Tokyo) and The Dog and Lamp Post (Osaka), as well as within our wider community.

  • We reserve the right to decline advertisements that conflict with Don Magazine’s values or editorial direction.

  • Proofing availability depends on the production schedule and will be clarified during the advertising process.

  • Yes. Discounts are available for multiple insertions, such as placing ads across four or more issues.

  • We accept print-ready PDF files. Detailed specifications, including bleed and safe-area guidelines, are provided once advertising is confirmed.
